How it Works—

Retro on the Outside

ToneMatic is made from a real, working rotary phone. We then gut it, and rebuild the inside with modern technology. Guests pick up the phone, listen to the greeting, and leave their message. It’s a simple concept, that every understands how to use.

The Tonematic Brain

On the inside, Tonematic is far from retro. It's where the magic happens, its the Brain. Messages are processed in real time on the phone. Every message left, is saved as its own voicemail file. You can sync messages and upload custom greetings via a convenient desktop app for Mac & PC.

Shareable Messages

Batch convert your voicemail messages to a branded mp4 video format. Perfect for sharing online. You can choose your background artwork, and the colour of your waveform animation. Apps for both Mac and Windows are included.

  • Battery Powered

    Tonematic can be run off any standard power bank with USB C. A 20,000mah battery pack is good for an entire event.

  • Custom Greetings

    Record your own greeting, and upload it to the phone. Or choose from one of our pre-made greetings. Make it yours.

  • Audio File Capture

    Each message is captured as its own seperate audio file. Log on to the phone to listen to and then download all the messages.

  • Status LED

    On the base of Tonematic is a small LED status light. This will illuminate when the phone first boots up, and is ready to go and blink when in use.

Ready to Buy?

  • Messages sync to your Mac or PC using the included ethernet cable, and the provided desktop sync software. Once your Tonematic is powered on and connected to your router, the files will sync automatically. WiFi support will be added in an upcoming software update.

  • Simply because most social networks do not allow sharing of audio files. Converting the voicemails to mp4 files makes them shareable online. Also, it’s a perfect opportunity for branding.

  • No, we dont ship Tonematic with the battery pack (mostly because of shipping restrictions). We will give you a link to the recomended battery pack after purchase.

  • There is a 12 month “return to base” warranty on the hardware.

  • Software updates are free for the life of the phone.
